How do you do it? by RattytheDevilDog How do you do it? by RattytheDevilDog
Just a snapshot from a terribly civilised picnic that we had earlier today. These are cucumber sandwiches with the crusts cut off...I couldn't fit the teapot, the rest of the sandwiches and the tray of cakes into the frame.

The National Trust didn't know what hit them.

Wonderful. It makes me feel good just looking at it. Always wanted to go on a picnic like that. :)

Thankyou hunny :D It was a most lovely and terribly civilised day. Come over in the summer and I see no reason why we shouldn't meet up and picnic in style!

Thankyou...I now have at least two very excitable figments going "ooooooo" over this... :P

And rightly so!
When we picnic, we shall picnic in a similarly sivilised manner, should you wish to! (it's the only way to do it!)

*giggles manically* That is terribly, terribly posh! But it is nice to be civil once in a while ;)

I think ours usually consist of the fruits of the morning's raid on the deli counter, many plastic bags and enough pringles to feed a small army.

Did you take the table as well? 0.0

Most certainly! Two tables, four chairs, a silver cake slice and a stove and kettle to make the tea. (and all the cake in the English speaking world...)

You're quite correct, it's good for the soul to be civilised once in a while!
